China Airlines has appointed Stellar Entertainment as its new inflight entertainment (IFE) content service provider, to bring on board a regularly refreshed catalogue of films, and TV and audio programmes.
The line-up of programming will include content from well-known international media brands, popular film franchises, and the latest cinematic releases, with updates guided by seasonal studio schedules and passenger viewing trends.
A key element of the partnership deal is the introduction of Disney+ content on board China Airlines, making the airline the first in Taiwan to offer Disney+ in the air. Travellers can look forward to entertainment from the Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic brands, with something for children, families and adults.
Passengers can also access HBO series and documentaries, plus a lineup of new-release films from major Hollywood studios, including Warner Bros., Disney, Paramount, Universal, and Sony.
China Airlines passengers will also benefit from an easier-to-browse catalogue of entertainment, with clearer organisation and improved language support to help travellers from different regions quickly find something they will enjoy.
